Goals for this Year

At Global Gain, we hope that by leading the push for NGOs to adopt scaling-out principles and working directly with them to do so, others will soon follow. The result would be vast improvements in the lives of marginalized groups on a global scale (hence our name). In our inaugural year, we successfully met our own targets for scaling-out by developing a number of key partnerships that we believe will effectively position us to meet all of our 2007 goals, which include:

• Strengthening our existing partnerships and forging new ones
  
• Demonstrating proof of concept for scaling-out through adaptive blueprinting strategies using the Child Friendly Villages blueprint for social change
• Documenting our work and spreading our ideas to help spur a movement for increased levels of collaboration and fewer duplication of efforts among organizations in the social sector
• Identifying other innovative projects providing solutions to problems related to extreme poverty and help the organizations that created them turn them into blueprints for social change
• Consulting with philanthropic foundations to better enable them to do the same
