Strengthening Networks

The adaptive blueprinting process requires intensive collaboration among organizations with shared or overlapping missions. The process involves, among other things, the creator of a proven blueprint for social change:

  • Identifying partners with the capabilities required to adopt and adapt the blueprint
  • Training these partners using a streamlined, systematic process that maximizes the chances of success
  • Creating mechanisms to facilitate ongoing dialogue and feedback in order to constantly improve and adapt the blueprint

The inevitable result of these efforts is the creation of a new network, not just for the creator of the blueprint but for all collaborating organizations. Networks created out of the necessity for sustained cooperation involved in adaptive blueprinting are much more likely than other networks (especially thos based on loose affiliations) to result in productive collaborations among the networked organizations in the future.
