Are You a Global Fit?

Part of our organizational philosophy is that the type of people who are an ideal fit to work at Global Gain are too rare and exceptional to find via traditional methods including even the most targeted forms of advertising. As a result, Global Gain is never hiring, yet always hiring. In other words, if you have all the qualities we seek an individual and can make a strong case for why you would be a great addition to our organization, we're interested in hearing from you.

Because our mission and our strategy for carrying out our mission is not particular to any one issue area, our ideal candidate is (paradoxically) "one size fits all"-- which is to say that all ideal candidates who would make a natural fit for the type of work culture and philosophy we are trying to create would have the same qualities. Someone who:

  • Is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about one or more issue areas affecting the poorest of the poor or other marginalized and/or exploited groups
  • Holds a firm belief that even the most seemingly hopeless or complex social problems can be solved through persistence, patience, and utter conviction (where there's a will, there's a way)
  • Solves problems systematically and holistically
  • Views unexpected obstacles not as insurmountable mountains but as speed bumps which can always be overcome through persistent efforts and re-strategizing

  • Is a natural "bridge-builder" who has consciously honed his/her talent into a specific skill set (toolkit, if you will) favorable to group collaboration and conflict resolution
