A blueprint for social change is specific program or strategy created by an? organization in the social sector, which can be adapted and replicated by organizations with similar missions on a wide scale. In seeking ideal blueprints for social change to get involved with, Global Gain looks for the following qualities:

  • It must address a serious social problem faced by the world's poorest and most marginalized groups
  • It must provide a long-term, sustainable solution to the problem being addressed
  • It must be both replicable and adaptable from one village, city, region, or country to the next
  • There must be a sufficient number of NGOs focused on the problem that the blueprint addresses in order to effectively scale-out
