The power of new ideas: Social Sector 1.0
There has always been a heavy emphasis in the social sector on new ideas and models to solve society's problems. There's nothing wrong with this, however, as Bill Clinton once said, "Nearly every problem has been solved by someone, somewhere. The
frustration is that we can’t seem to replicate those solutions anywhere
else."
The power of existing ideas: Social Sector 2.0
At Global Gain, our vision is for a social sector where the best ideas and models flourish as organizations freely share their program-models with others who can then adapt them based on local needs. For this to happen, organizations need a system that makes the scaling-out process much simpler and more structured. This is why we developed the Adaptive Blueprinting (AB) Framework and Tools-- to help the sector evolve from a focus on new ideas to a focus on existing ideas. In our vision, AB can be used to help existing solutions become even stronger through the power of collective wisdom as more organizations adopt and adapt models and share best practices.
