HistoryGlobal Gain has been operational since January of 2006. The three cofounders are Ashwini Anand, Kishore Jadhav, and Nathan Cryder. Anand and Jadhav are both Indian-born doctors currently practicing in one of the poorest regions of rural Appalachia in Kentucky. Cryder is the Executive Director of Global Gain and also resides with his wife and two children in Kentucky. All three recognized that problems affecting the poor are universal. As a result, they sought a systemic leverge point that could benefit the world's poor equally. Whether you're in Appalachia or in India, there's always a need for better ideas and models addressing local problems. Adaptive Blueprinting (AB) is a leverage point to spread such models while allowing for local adaptation. |
